AZAB - The Results
We raced in our antique boat from Falmouth to Sao Miguel in the Azores and back, a distance of around 2,400 miles. That was 20 days of sailing and not all of it was plain: on some days the wind strength was up to force 7. Overall, we came second in class on both legs, came sixth in the combined fleet and also won the Visick Perpetual Trophy for the fastest vessel whose crew are related. Most importantly, we raised £20,000 for the Parkinson's Disease Society. Everybody was very generous.

Caroline, James’ wife and Henry’s mother, was diagnosed with the disease 3 years ago aged 50 and is an inspiration to all.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition affecting movements such as walking, talking, and writing. At present there is no known cure.
